Update: TTG CE2 Highslide Gallery 4.1.9
An update is now available for TTG CE2 Highslide Gallery. Existing users should shortly receive an email with upgrade access; if you have not received this email, you may lookup your order by number and email address from the sidebar.
The headline for this update is improved integration for image sales via Fotomoto.com. I've worked closely with Fotomoto's team to improve our use of their API for Fotomoto-enabled galleries. Images now checkin with Fotomoto accounts on page load, rather than each image checking in individually when the Purchase button is clicked. This should make things much easier for users who post new galleries, then wish to manage image pricing, collections or availability within their Fotomoto account.
Under normal circumstances images should be checked in almost immediately on a gallery's first page load. During our testing, however, we did find occasions when images failed checkin. According to Fotomoto, the gallery was communicating properly with the server and correctly attempting to checkin images, but new images were not being processed due to the servers "getting hammered" at that time. Fotomoto does monitor their servers and can bring up additional servers to handle increased load when they catch it, so this will hopefully be an infrequent problem for users. I did find that individual image checkin -- by clicking the Purchase button on an image -- worked fine during this time, so such server issues should never affect your capability to sell images; it seems only to affect mass checkins when it's a problem at all.
Version 4.1.9 includes the following updates:
- Improved Fotomoto integration. All images now checkin with Fotomoto on page load, rather than when loaded individually. This will make is easier for users adding new galleries, then needing to manage pricing and collections in their Fotomoto account.
- Portugese language option for Highslide localization, courtesy of Clicio Barroso Filho.
- Hyperlinks in login box now honor colors set in Typography options.
- New default height for large images is 640px.
